What is the title of the article? Where is it from? What is the article about? What techniques were used to keep the audience engaged? Be specific. How do visuals make a difference? How does this affect how you will format your articles for your website? Please comment on what this means as a consumer of news and ALSO as a producer of news.

The title of the article I read online was "Norway's Electric Cars Zip To New Record: Almost A Third of All Sales. This article is from One America News' website under the technology section. The authors put the most important information in the first two paragraphs. The paragraphs themselves were not long either. The article also gave specific stats in the third paragraph. I think this was a good place to introduce the stats because it proves what the author had been previously saying early on in the story. The article also had a link to electric car sales. The link is to a graphic which makes it easier to see exacty how well the sales have been doing. When I go to write articles for my website I'm going to try and incorporate some, if not all, of these techniques. The story held my attention for these reasons.

As a consumer of news, this article didn't bore me. I also felt like I got what I needed out of it right away because it was easy to understand the main idea.
